Delicious Daikon Radish Steak

My son is crazy about daikon radish, so I decided to cook it with his favorite seasonings: butter and ponzu sauce.
Once you add the butter and ponzu, evenly coat the daikon with them while shaking the pan so that they don't burn.
Though it might seem like it will have a really strong taste, you'll see that that that's not the case when you eat it. So be generous with the ponzu – the dakion radish will absorb the umami flavors. Recipe by Rapipapi

Steps
- 1
Cut the daikon radish into 1 cm thick slices, and make small cuts on one side in a crisscross pattern.
- 2
Arrange the daikon radish in a frying pan, and pour on enough water to cover it. Cover with a lid and boil for 15 ~ 20 minutes until the daikon is translucent.
- 3
When boiled, drain the water while keeping the daikon radish in the pan using the lid. Brown the daikon radish in the pan over heat.
- 4
Add the butter and ponzu. Coat the daikon radish with golden brown.
- 5
Serve on a plate, sprinkle with black pepper, and it's done.
