Steps

Wash & pressure cook dal by 3 cups of water for 3 whistles.

Heat clarified butter or oil in a pan, add the red chillies & cumin, when splutter add curry leaves garlic,ginger & onions and saute for 2 minutes.

Now add green chillies & turmeric powder mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.Add the tomatoes and cook till they are almost mussy. Add spinach & cook for 5 minutes.

Add the salt and boiled dal, mix well and cook for 3 minute.Serve hot with rice, papad & salad.
