Ingredients

4-5 people
  1. 500 ggreen peas (boiled)
  2. 2 cupsmakhane (fox nut)
  3. 10-12cashews
  4. 2 tbspfresh cream
  5. 2large Onions chopped
  6. 2 tablespoonginger paste
  7. 8garlic cloves
  8. 2large tomatoes chopped
  9. 1 tbspCumin seeds
  10. 3cloves
  11. 2cardamom
  12. as per needFew curry leaves
  13. 1 inchcinnamon stick
  14. 1 tbspCoriander powder
  15. 3-4green chillies chopped
  16. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  17. 1/2.tsp deggi mirch
  18. 1 tbspGaram masala powder
  19. 1 Tspturmeric powder
  20. as requiredChopped coriander leaves for garnishing
  21. as required Oil
  22. As neededWater as required

Cooking Instructions

    Firstly, Heat 1 tsp oil in a kadai add 2 cup Makhane fry for 3-4 minutes. Keep aside

    Heat 2 tsp oil in same kadai. Add 1/2 tsp cumin seeds, cloves, cardomam fry for 2 minutes.
    Now add chopped onions fry till onions change colour then add Ginger Paste and garlic cloves. Fry till they change colour. Then add chopped tomatoes add little bit salt and fry until oil sepratres. add few cashews and saute. Turn off the flame

    When the mixture is cooled blend to smooth paste in blender without adding water.keep aside

    In a same kadai,heat 1 tbsp oil, add curry leaves, 1/2 cumin seeds and cinnamon stick once they spullter add prepared masala paste and fry for 5-6 minutes

    Now add turmeric powder, salt deggi mirch, red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt, mix well fry until oil sepratres.

    Now add fresh cream in a mixture and mix it well. Add as required water to adjust consistency. Boil the mixture for 2-3 minutes

    Add fried makhane and boiled green peas. Cook on low flame for 20 minutes.

    Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot Sabzi with naan and Roti.
