Ingredients

Preparation time-10 mins, Cooking time-1 hr
2 people
  1. 300 gmsmutton on bones
  2. 5 tspWalnut paste
  3. 2medium size onions chopped
  4. 1 tspginger paste
  5. 2-3green chilli
  6. As neededWhole Garam Masala of - 1 star anise, 3-4 whole peppercorns, 1 Black Cardamom, 3-4 Green cardamoms, 1” cinnamon stick
  7. 5 tspcurd
  8. 1 cupmilk
  9. 1 tspcoriander powder
  10. 1 tspred chilli powder
  11. Sprigsmint and coriander leaves
  12. 1/2 tspgaram masala powder
  13. As per taste Salt

Steps

Preparation time-10 mins, Cooking time-1 hr
  1. 1

    In a wok heat ghee, add Whole Garam masala and stir for 1-2 mins until there is an aroma

  2. 2

    Add ginger paste, sliced green chilies and stir for 1 min. Add chopped onions and cook until brown in colour.

  3. 3

    Add mutton pieces and keep stirring on low flame until Mutton becomes brown in colour.

  4. 4

    Add coriander powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, salt, mint and coriander leaves l and continue stirring.

  5. 5

    Add walnut paste, milk, and 500ml water and mix well. On low flame, cover and cook.

  6. 6

    Once cooked, set aside, garnish with coriander leaves and enjoy on its own or with Roti
