Steps
- 1
In a pan, heat oil on medium heat. Add in the cinnamon, cloves and black cardamom. Then add in meat.
- 2
Cook uncovered till all the water released by the meat has dried up.
- 3
Then add onion and green chilli paste and cook covered till oil releases from the sides.
- 4
Then add salt, red chilli and turmeric and chopped tomatoes. Mix and sauté for a minute and then add 1/2 cup water. Cover and cook till meat is 80% cooked.
- 5
Then add coriander powder and whipped yogurt. Let it come to a boil. Then cover and simmer for 20 mins.
- 6
After 20 mins, the meat should be tender. If so, turn the heat off and sprinkle garam masala, cilantro and mint. Ready to serve. If meat is not tender, then let it cook for some more time. You can add more water if needed.
