Steps

Heat ghee add cinnamon, clove, bay leaf, kopak pod, star anise, green chillies and slightly crushed cardamom.

Add onions and fry till translucent add ginger garlic paste and fry till raw smell goes off. Add green peas and cashews. Finely dices carrots can also be added

Add 1 cup of water. When water starts boiling add rice.

Add 1 cup of milk add salt and cook. I used cooker, can also be cooked in open pan.

Serve with koorma.
