First wash nicely both lentils and now soak them in water for at least 30 minutes. Add all the lentils into the cooker, then add a little salt to it and then wait till 3 to 4 whistle of the cooker. Now wash the spinach and cut it.

Now to take garlic, ginger and green chili. Now take a pan and heat oil in it. Add asafetida, cumin seeds, garlic, ginger and green chili. Then add onion to it and sauté it.

Now add and cut tomato to it, and then all the Masala and then add lentil and spinach to it.

Healthy Garlic Dal Palak is ready! Serve it with hot Chapati, Paratha or with Rice.
