Halwa Paratha

#cookpadindia
The most preferred Breakfast on any day. It is a popular one as well as a filling and a nutritious one too. It's equally popular in Pakistan also. And it also has Chana that goes along with it pretty well. Chana or Chole both are equally good. Chana stands for Bengal Gram. It's also a lovely treat with Parathas and Halwa. Chole is also a great way to serve with them.
Both the ways it's good. But it is good even without Chana or Chole. Just Halwa is more than enough for a yummy Breakfast along with a hot cup of Tea or Milk.
This is my family's favourite Breakfast on a weekend, especially Sundays. That's it.
A simple homemade Breakfast for everyone. It's a beautiful one. Try it for your loved ones and relish it on a Sunday morning.

Steps
- 1
Add Ghee to a kadai. Fry all the Mixed Dry Fruits and Nuts of choice. Keep aside. In the same kadai, saute Semolina until light golden in colour and roasted well. Keep stirring it to avoid burning it all the while it's roasted.
- 2
To this add, Cardamom powder and Sugar. Mix well and keep mixing until it starts melting. Also add water as required and keep mixing well. It should be done in a few minutes. Check Sugar at this point of time. You can add more or less according to your family's liking. You will see that the Halwa will start leaving the edges and coming together like a mass. That's it. Take it off the heat now. Do not dry it up.
- 3
Garnish with fried Nuts. Serve it warm with Plain Parathas for a lovely and a healthy Breakfast. Yum!
