Visited a local bar where they offered a vodka based Oreo float with vanilla flavoured vodka, was nice but a bit to harsh.The rum adds the extra sweetness to the vanilla flavouring and smells even more appealing!

When my sweet neighbor gifted me a pineapple, I immediately thought about the bold and bright Caribbean flavors: coconut, almond, pineapple, vanilla and of course spiced rum. Serving with a pineapple martini on the side, oh you know it's gonna be good.Recipe inspired by aspicyperspective.com

When it comes to convenience making a holiday dinner, it's hard to beat a fully-cooked smoked ham. All you have to do is dress it up and reheat it in the oven. In our family, this usually means pinning on pineapple rings and applying a liberal baste of sweetened pineapple juice. This Easter, I modified the technique slightly by spiking the basting glaze with a pop of spice and a little shot of rum. Festive, easy, a little naughty, and totally delicious.

My sister Dee-Dee and I love Caribbean-style rum cocktails. This one's tasty and packs a punch! (Is that why it's called "punch"?) The measurements here are for 1 cocktail. We quadruple the measurements so we both get 2 drinks. We mixed it up ahead of time so it could chill down well in the fridge since I don't like ice in my drinks. Cheers!

I had a cocktail last week, in a restaurant, that had the same name as my drink. I was sort of embarrassed by how quick I plowed through 2 of them in a short period of time but oh well, I’m over it 😆😂I recreated theirs. I made mine almost sugar free but wasn’t about to skip my grenadine♥️😂 it’s all the things I love in a potent, easy, light fizzy cocktail that doesn’t gag you from the sweetness. In my opinion, too much sugar in beverages is absolutely nauseating. I didn’t even garnish it because I couldn’t find my maraschino cherries lol next time I’ll probably add fresh mint.
