Kulcha's are flat breads, cooked extensively in parts of North India. It makes a great accompaniment with curries and gravies, but it is best served with Chole.
Kulchas are usually made with yeast, but here I have made WITHOUT YEAST.
Tawa kulchas are super soft and really tasty.

Kulchas are usually made with yeast, but here I have made WITHOUT YEAST.
Tawa kulchas are super soft and really tasty.
Steps

Take maida in a bowl or parat. Add baking soda, baking powder, sugar, salt. Knead into a soft dough using warm water. Rest the dough for an hour. Now put 2 tbspn oil and Knead again.

Divide the dough into 6 balls.
Roll out the dough ball into flat discs of 6" diameter.
Thickness of about 4mm. - 3
Put chopped coriander leaves from top and gently press it from top. So that the coriander sticks to the disc.

Heat a non-stick tawa and brush it with oil or ghee. Now place the kulcha on the tawa and reduce the heat. Cook the kulcha nicely from both the sides by applying ghee or oil.

Once both sides have got a golden brown colour, Apply butter generously and sprinkle kalonji(onion seeds) from top.

Serve hot kulchas with your choice of gravy items, curries or dals.
