Paneer tikka

Chunks of paneer, a type of fresh cheese, are marinated in spices and are then arranged on a stick with capsicums, onions, and tomatoes. These sticks are grilled in a tandoor and the dish is thereafter served hot, seasoned with lemon juice and chaat masala.

In a bowl combine Hung curd, Ginger garlic paste, Kashmiri chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder, garam masala powder, and roasted ajwain, chief green chilies, and chopped fresh coriander. Now add salt, lemon juice, and mustard oil.

With the help of a spoon mix it properly. Now add diced panner, seedless diced tomato, seedless diced capsicum, and diced onion.

Mix paneer and vegetables in the hung curd mixture and let it rest for about 30minutes in the refrigerator.

Once the marination is done. Take it out and arrange marinated paneer and vegetables on skewers.

Cook in a tandoor or on a grill pan(if using grill pan add 1 tablespoon of mustard oil on the pan) until done.

While cooking pours some melted butter on it.

Cook from all the sides.
Once done take it out and arrange it on a platter.
To give a smoky flavor, light up charcoal arrange on a platter and pour melted ghee on it. Cover with a bowl and let the smoke add a little flavor to the tikka. - 8
Sprinkle some lemon juice and chaat masala on it. Serve hot with laccha onion, mint chutney, and lemon chunk.
