20 minutes
  1. 200 gmsthick yogurt (fresh and not sour)
  2. 1 tablespoonHoney (optional)
  3. 1 cupFrozen or fresh berries
  4. 1 tablespoonBrown or white sugar (optional)

Cooking Instructions

20 minutes
  1. 1

Take the yogurt in a bowl and whisk to get a flowing consistency. Honey can be added for sweetness but is completely optional.

  2. 2

In a pan prepare the compote by mixing together berries and sugar on low flame.

  3. 3

Note, if you are adding honey, then just skip the compote and add the berries as a garnish.

  4. 4

Next, add half of the compote to the yogurt and mix lightly.

  5. 5

Keep a plate ready with parchment or baking paper.
Pour the yogurt mixture on the paper and spread it evenly.
Garnish with the remaining compote and make some swirls with the help of a toothpick or knife.

  6. 6

Set this yogurt in the freezer for at least 2 hours.
Cut them into squares and enjoy.

  7. 7

These yogurt bars can also be frozen for later consumption. Keep them into an airtight box and enjoy as and when you feel like it.

  8. 8

My kids just loved these and they were all finished in one go.
