Cooking Instructions
- 1
The cinnamon nerikiri and black sesame nerikiri are white nerikiri mixed with black sesame paste and cinnamon powder.
- 2
Color with pink, blue, and red food coloring (I use natural food coloring).
- 3
You will be making three characters this time around, so separate the nerikiri to be used for each character into portions according to the character.
- 4
Use the light brown nerikiri to make Chopper's face and Luffy's hat. Use 10 g of the dark brown nerikiri to make Chopper's and Merry's horns.
- 5
Use the blue nerikiri to make Chopper's hat and nose. Use 50 g of the white nerikiri to make the base for Merry.
- 6
Use 50 g of the white nerikiri to make Luffy's face, ears, and nose. Use the pink nerikiri to make Chopper's hat and Luffy's mouth.
- 7
Use 20 g of the white nerikiri to make Luffy's teeth, the whites of Chopper's eyes, and Chopper's X mark.
- 8
Use 10 g of the black nerikiri to make Luffy's hair, eyes, and nose, along with Chopper and Merry's eyes and noses. Use the remaining red to make the ribbon on Luffy's hat.
- 9
Fix the upper nerikiri parts together on top of a paper towel, and they are done.

Fragrant Sakura Blossom Ohagi (Sweet Rice Cakes Covered with Anko Bean Paste) Fragrant Sakura Blossom Ohagi (Sweet Rice Cakes Covered with Anko Bean Paste)
I added salt preserved cherry blossoms and dyed the rice pink with red food coloring to the usual ohagi. The fragrance of the cherry blossoms makes them delicious, and they were a hit! This is my own way of making ohagi, but feel free to use this recipe as reference and the ohagi the way you're used to. By the way, my kids like ohagi more than sakura mochi (since ohagi has more bean paste). The cherry blossoms make these feel very elegant, so they'll be happily received as a gift. Since I wanted to make this for my mother, I looked at a variety of recipes, but they all used sugar syrup. My favorite mixed rice to make in the Autumn season~. It's just a little sweet and so tasty! I think kids will love it too! Salty and Sweet Fried Burdock Furikake Rice Sprinkles Salty and Sweet Fried Burdock Furikake Rice Sprinkles
I love burdock. I use it to make simple furikake rice sprinkles. You can eat a lot of rice because it is salty and sweet! You can put it in something, put it in egg rolls or you can use it for many things. Try this nutritious and delicious furikake rice sprinkles recipe! There's no need to remove the harshness from the burdock. The black water from the burdock when you keep it in water is rich in polyphenol. It is easy to arrange if you mince the burdock and it is easier for kids to eat. The point is to mince it to a size that still enables you to enjoy the texture. Add some sesame oil when it's done! Recipe by Toiroiro cookpad.japan -

Guilt free brown rice Zongzi (sweet and savory versions) 糙米甜、咸粽 Guilt free brown rice Zongzi (sweet and savory versions) 糙米甜、咸粽
Tradition zongzi is made of short grain sweet white rice. Although this festival food is gluten free, most people found it difficult to digest rich stuffings with sweet white rice. I recreate a healthier version in 2017 to substitute sweet white Rice with half sweet brown rice and half brown rice, but still it's quite rich. This year I accidentally found a brand of brown rice (Botan) has a similar texture like sweet rice, so now this guilty free 100% brown rice zongzi receipe is born. So delicious when served in warm and it doesn't adds much burden to your digestion. Eat Whole 2 Thrive
