Steps

Mix the flour and sugar together, then add the eggs one at a time.

Gradually add the milk in several additions, then stir in the vanilla extract.

Pour the batter into a baking dish and bake for 40 to 45 minutes at 400°F (200°C). Check doneness by inserting a knife into the center; if it comes out clean, remove from the oven.
