Handmade Naan (Approved by My Mother-in-Law) Handmade Naan (Approved by My Mother-in-Law)
The naan from the local shop is mediocre, so I always make this recipe at home.I am still trying to make an even more delicious naan! This recipe has got more sugar than normal bread, but the taste will be less sweet than you think. Please add more bread flour if your dough is too sticky, as it depends on the flour and yogurt. However, the ideal dough is slightly sticky!I recommend you cook this naan on a frying pan rather than the oven! Easy Naan in a Bread Machine Easy Naan in a Bread Machine
I recreated the naan served at my favourite Indian restaurant. The menu says it is hand-stretched naan made with a generous amount of milk, so I included a lot of milk in this recipe.Keep an eye on it, or it will burn! It depends how strong the heat is, but it takes me 5-6 minutes to grill each naan. Recipe by Puriman cookpad.japan -

Naturally Leavened Naan made in a Frying Pan Naturally Leavened Naan made in a Frying Pan
I often use natural leaven to make breads and so I decided to try using it to make naan.It turns out you can cook naturally leavened bread in a frying pan. When the surface of the naan puffs up in 3 places, it's time to flip it over. When using only bread flour, increase the bread flour by 50 g to get the same result. Recipe by yoshikoskz cookpad.japan -
My Family's Favourite Naan My Family's Favourite Naan
I used to go to a restaurant that specialised in curry, and the Indian chef made really great authentic Indian curry. The naan from that restaurant was amazing.Pan-fry the naan well until until it changes colour from white to cream. It will make the naan fluffy.Stretching out the dough by hand instead of using a rolling pin makes the surface bumpy, and looks more like authentic naan.Authentic naan for curry is usually brushed with simple syrup, and goes well with spicy curry.
