Cut all the vegetables into small pieces.

Heat a little olive oil in a pan and sauté the onion and garlic.

Add the carrot, potato, and tomatoes.

Add 2 cups water (about 500 ml). Season with salt and pepper, cover, and simmer for 45 minutes.

About 10 minutes before the end of cooking, add the white beans, green beans, and pasta.
- 6
Just before serving, sprinkle with basil and grated Parmesan cheese.
