Ingredients

  1. 150 gramsBread flour
  2. 30 gramsCake flour
  3. 1 tspInstant dry yeast
  4. 20 gramsSugar
  5. 1/2 tspSalt
  6. 15 gramsButter
  7. 100 mlMilk

Steps

    Put the bread flour, cake flour, dry yeast, sugar, and salt into a bowl.

    Microwave the milk for 50 seconds, and pour into the bowl aiming for the dry yeast.

    Mix with cooking chopsticks. When the dough comes together, start kneading by hand.

    When the dough becomes smooth, add the melted butter which was microwaved for 50 seconds. Continue kneading by hand for 10 minutes.

    Form into a ball, cover with plastic wrap, and let the dough rise for 40 minutes in the microwave to let rise.

    When the dough triples in size, place it on a dusted board.

    Divide into 3 portions, and form into balls. Cover with plastic wrap, and let sit for about 10 minutes.

    Roll out 1 portion of the dough with a rolling pin.

    Fold the top and bottom flaps.

    Roll it up. Do the same with the remaining dough.

    Put the 3 portions of dough into the pound cake pan, cover with plastic wrap, and allow them to rise for 40 minutes in the microwave with the rising setting.

    They triple in size again as illustrated in the picture.

    Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes at 180℃, and it's done!
