Ingredients

  1. crust
  2. 2 cupscrushed pretzels
  3. 3/4 cupsbutter, melted
  4. 3 tablespoonswhite sugar(can use Splenda)
  5. filling
  6. 1 (8 oz)package cream cheese, softened
  7. 1 Cupwhite sugar(can use Splenda)
  8. 1 (8 oz)Carton frozen cool whip, thawed
  9. 2 (3 oz)Packaged strawberry gelatin
  10. 2 cupsboiling water
  11. 2 (10 oz)package frozen strawberries(can use fresh)

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. 2

    Stir together crushed pretzels, melted butter and 3 tablespoons white sugar; mix well and press into bottom of 9x13-inch pan.

    Bake 8-10 Min., until set; set aside to cool.

  4. 4

    In a large bowl, cream together cream cheese and white sugar.

  5. 5

    Fold in cool whip

  6. 6

    Evaporate jello in boiling water.

  7. 7

    Stir in frozen or fresh strawberries and allow to set briefly.

  8. 8

    When mixture is about the likeness of egg whites, pour and spread over cream cheese layer.

  9. 9

    Put into refrigerator till set.
