Marinara Pasta

Hi! Marinara is a sauce made up of tomatoes and some other ingredients. You can follow my recipe to make it without the sauce and incorporate all the ingredients into the pasta directly instead. Alternatively you can use Marinara sauce, but in that case you need to change some things which I have explained in the google docs version.
Tip #1: While boiling the pasta, remember to properly stir a few times every minute or so to prevent it from sticking at the base of the pot.
Tip #2: While sauteing the veggies, do it on high flame and allow the vegetable juices to evaporate off so they saute and don't boil.

Steps
- 1
Boil the pasta in a pot and put a slight bit of salt in it. Chop the veggies in the meantime.
- 2
Once the pasta is boiled, drain the water and let cold water run through to rinse the pasta. This prevents it from turning sticky and paste-y. Let the pasta cool down in a strainer.
- 3
In a pan/cauldron, heat up some oil. Fry the onions and capsicum/bell peppers first. After 30 sec. of sauteing them, put the rest of the veggies and saute for 3-4 mins on high flame.
- 4
Optional but suggested - put 1 tsp. of pizza/pasta sauce if you have it.
- 5
Add salt according to taste. Remember that you must’ve added salt while boiling pasta, so be careful with this.
- 6
Put the pasta in and mix well. Sprinkle pepper and pizza/pasta topping.
- 7
Put 1 tsp. butter and mix gently a few times. Serve and enjoy!
