My wife is from Nagoya, Japan and she loves miso everything so one night i decided to make this miso salmon and it was so good. This is why i am sharing it with all of you.

My wife is from Nagoya, Japan and she loves miso everything so one night i decided to make this miso salmon and it was so good. This is why i am sharing it with all of you.

Open the zip lock bag or if your using a bowl add in the miso paste, soy sauce, sake, mirin and sugar and mix well. Now add in the salmon fillets and coat the fish well. Now marinade for 3 hour to over night.

The longer you let them sit the better the flavor will be so don’t rush it. Remove the salmon pieces and pat the off with a paper towel. You want to remove most of the miso marinade before cooking.

Now turn on the Cookpad or burner to medium and warm up your pan. If you don’t remove the miso from the fish the sugars will cause the fish to burn so make sure to pat them down well.

Cook salmon about 3 minutes on each side until done. Now serve with greens and rice. Arigato from The Food Dude.
