I asked the family what kind of bell pepper dish they wanted, and they answered they'd eat them if they were stuffed with meat, so that's what I made today.

You can use the meat stuffing for shiitake mushrooms too. Dust the insides of the mushrooms caps with flour, stuff with the meat and cook as for the peppers. I think that shiitake mushrooms go well with soy sauce. Recipe by Umakappe

250 gramsGround pork
6Bell peppers
1/2Onion
1/4 tspSalt
1 tspSoy sauce
1 dashPepper

Steps

Cut the peppers in half, and take out the seeds.

Finely chop the onion. Combine with the ground pork, salt and soy sauce, and mix well until it's sticky.

Dust the bell peppers lightly with flour (not listed) and stuff with the meat mixture.

Heat a pan, and start frying the peppers meat side down first over medium heat. When the meat is browned, turn the peppers over and fry until the meat is cooked through.

Done.
