Wash and chop spiny gourd. Add oil in the pan. Add freshly grounded green chillies, garlic and ginger. Add turmeric and asafoetida. Saute for 30 seconds.

Add chopped spiny gourd. Add salt and red chilli powder. Mix it and cover it. Cook on low flame. After 5-7 minutes, open and mix it well.

Continue to cook till it is soft. Add coriander leaves. Mix it well. Serve with Roti or Bhakhri. Enjoy.
