Tender Beef Steak

I heard that when preparing steaks, using baking powder makes the meat tender. Apparently grapeseed oil also makes the meat rather tender, but it's expensive.
Don't use too much baking powder, or else it'll become bitter! It's important to coat the meat with vegetable oil. Flip the steaks once when you're cooking. Recipe by uuu

Steps
- 1
Pound the beef steak and cut the tendons with a knife.
- 2
Lightly coat the meat with baking powder and vegetable oil, wrap in plastic wrap, and let it sit in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
- 3
Season with salt and pepper right before cooking! The meat gets tough right after seasoning.
- 4
30 minutes before you plan on cooking the meat, remove it from the refrigerator. Season with salt and pepper and pan-fry.
- 5
After you begin frying, once the red juices begin to seep out of the meat, flip it over.
- 6
If you want the meat prepare rare, then only cook for 10 seconds after flipping. Medium-rare takes about 20 seconds, and well-done takes 30 seconds.
- 7
Add your favorite seasonings such as garlic, sauce, soy sauce, etc., and enjoy. Serve next to your desired side dishes.
