Steak with Homemade Grated Daikon Radish Sauce

Rather than a rich and heavily-flavored steak, I felt like seasoning it light. This was my attempt of making homemade sauce.

If you strain the grated daikon radish too much, it will taste dried out, so leave a moderate amount of moisture and top on the steak. Recipe by JCT

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 250 gramsBeef Steak
  2. 1Grated daikon radish
  3. 3 tbspSauce (soy sauce)
  4. 2 tbspSauce (mirin)
  5. 2 tbspSauce (sake)
  6. 1rounded tablespoon Sauce (vinegar)
  7. 1Salt and pepper
  8. 1Vegetables for the side

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Season the meat with salt and pepper and cook in the frying pan. Medium-rare is best in my opinion.

  2. 2

    Grate the daikon radish.

  3. 3

Cut the meat and top with the grated daikon radish.

  4. 4

Make the sauce. Combine the sauce ingredients, taste it and adjust accordingly. Pour the sauce on top and enjoy.
