This is my all time favourite. Another mum's recipe. The heat from ginger and pepper so nice. The thick coat of the sauce stick well, it's tasty and so tender.

This is my all time favourite. Another mum's recipe. The heat from ginger and pepper so nice. The thick coat of the sauce stick well, it's tasty and so tender.

Peel, wash and cut onion and ginger as shown in photo

Sauté onion and ginger with olive oil until soft, the aroma is so nice.

Add the chicken wings, stir well. Turn them around well to make sure they won't burn.

Add dark soy sauce, white pepper, chicken salt and water, stir well. Add water again when the sauce dry up. Let it sit for half an hour until all the wings are soft and sauce become thick. Turn the chicken often to cook them evenly.

Now plate up and ready to eat. Serve with warm steam rice.
