Delicious Chicken Wings with Sweet and Salty Sauce

I used our family's secret sweet and salty sauce (the amount of ingredients, soy sauce : sake : mirin : sugar = 1 : 1 : 1 : 1/2 ratio plus a drizzle of sesame oil) and arranged it to make this recipe.
-Washing the wings before cooking removes the smell and make the chicken wings more delicious.
-The wings would be delicious if you fry them in medium heat and crisp the skin.
-The sweet and salty sauce easily gets burnt so flip the wings and cook in low heat while coating the wings with the sauce. Recipe by Banyangarden

Steps
- 1
Wash the wings and wipe off the water. Make cuts to underside (opposite side from the skin side).
- 2
Heat a pan with a generous amount of sesame oil and fry from the skin side facing down. Don't turn it until it has a golden brown color.
- 3
Turn over when the color is golden brown and cooked through thoroughly. Check if it is cooked through or not, peeking in the cuts you made in Step 1.
- 4
When the chicken is cooked through, wipe off the excess oil in the pan with a paper towel.
- 5
Add the seasoning ingredients, soy sauce, sake, mirin and sugar you mixed in advance to the pan and coat the wings well in low heat.
- 6
When the sweet and salty sauce has coated the wings well, then it's done! Sprinkle white sesame seeds if you like and enjoy.
