When You're Tired of Butter-Sautéed Salmon... Refreshing Pan-Fried Salmon

Salmon cooked in butter is a little heavy at my stage of life, so I made a recipe that is delicious and refreshing.

In Step 2, fry until one side is golden brown before turning over and cooking the second side.
Add a little sake (or water). Cover with a lid and steam to thoroughly cook the salmon. I think the dish is best with lots of sliced leeks on top. For serving 2. Recipe by ma2003co

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 2Salmon fillets
  2. 1/3 bunchJapanese leek for garnish
  3. 2 tbspFlour
  4. 1 tspSesame oil
  5. 1as required Salt and pepper
  6. 1Ponzu

Steps

  1. 1

    Season the salmon with salt and pepper. Thoroughly coat the fillets with flour.

  2. 2

    Spread sesame oil in a pan. Fry the coated salmon fillets.

  3. 3

    When the salmon is cooking, finely chop the leek.

  4. 4

    Serve the grilled salmon on a plate and top with the chopped leek. Sprinkle on a little bit of ponzu to taste.
