Hawaiian Style Garlic Shrimp

We eat this without fail on our yearly trips to Hawaii. The ones over there have a lot of garlic and are very oily, so I went easy on both. I bought various marinades and tried them out, but I think this version which can be made with easy to obtain ingredients is the closest to the original.

Just marinate! Anyone can make this easily.

You can use cheap shrimp like the black tiger variety.

Adjust the amount of garlic and black pepper to taste. For 2 servings. Recipe by Okirakushufu
