Ingredients

  • 350 glotus
  • 1red pepper
  • 45 ccJapanese sake (or white wine)
  • 15 ccsoy sauce
  • just under 15cc cane sugar
  • appropriate doses of salt, oil, sesame oil and sesame seeds

Steps

  1. 1

    Peeling lotus and slice, then plunge them in vinegar water (skim off scum)

  2. 2

    Cook lotus and chipped red pepper with oiled pan

  3. 3

    Add sake and vaporize alcohol, then add sugar

  4. 4

    Add soy sauce and saute for another minutes, then adjust the seasoning with salt

  5. 5

    Finally enhance flavor with sesame oil and sprinkle sesame seeds on it
