Steak Wrapped Stuffed Jalapeños

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Preheat oven to 425°
- 2
Thinly sliced NY Strip long ways. Combine soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic, honey, parsley, and pepper in a Tupperware bowl. (You don’t need salt as the soy sauce has plenty enough.) toss in steak slices and let marinate for 20min in fridge.
- 3
Chop up bacon, and cook in fry pan until just before it’s done cooking. The rest will cook in the oven. Remove from heat. Place chopped bacon onto paper towel on a dish to soak up excess grease.
- 4
Cut jalapeños in half and scoop out all seeds and veins.
- 5
Chop green onion, mincing the white portion for the mixture. Combine cream cheese, chopped parsley, minced green onion, parmesan cheese, ground coriander, seasoning salt until well mixed.
- 6
Spoon cream cheese mixture into jalapeño halves. Top with crumbled bacon.
- 7
Wrap steak slices around jalapeños and secure with toothpicks.
- 8
Bake in oven for 15-18min.
- 9
Place on plate stacking one high, and garnish with chopped green onion and lime/lemon zest.
- 10
Serve and enjoy!

Flank steak is not the most luxurious meat. Tenderize prior to preparing to make this a truly wonderful dish. Serve with roasted potatoes prepared with EVOO, sea salt, pepper, and rosemary. An extra dry martini pairs extremely well with this dish! HardDog1110
