DABELI CONES
Dabeli is a famous street food from Kutch - Gujarat. This spicy and delicious street food has spread it's fame outside Gujarat too. Dabeli is a combination of bun and spicy ,tangy and sweet potato filling along with spiced peanuts, pomegranate and chutneys. Here I have prepared a party snack in a different way. I have prepared cones using beetroot puree and filled it with dabeli masala(stuffing). This is best option for any party as a starter or snack.

Steps
- 1
Knead medium dough from cone ingredients. Cover and rest for 10 minutes. While dough is resting, prepare the potato stuffing. Mash boiled potato and add all ingredients of stuffing and mix well. As we are preparing cones, so we will add all chutneys in the stuffing for proper taste and serving convenience.
- 2
Heat oil for frying. Knead the dough a little and divide in equal parts and roll thin like roti. Cut into stripes and roll it over cone shaped mold.
- 3
Now deep fry it in hot oil on medium flame till it becomes crispy. Then remove it from oil, once it cools down, remove it from the mold.
- 4
Fill the cones with stuffing.
- 5
Garnish it with sev, pomegranate, spiced peanuts and coriander. Serve immediately.
- 6
Can replace fenugreek leaves with coriander or can skip it. You can bake cones instead of frying.
