When you are not adding chocolate chips, use 3 tablespoons of sugar.
When you are not adding instant coffee, use 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder.
You can enjoy a variation by adding orange peels. Recipe by Cookie shiasu

1/4 tspBaking powder
2 tbspGranulated sugar
1 tbspUnsweetened cocoa powder
1 tspInstant coffee
1 tbspChocolate chips
1Egg (small)
1 tbspMilk

Add all the ingredients into a mug cup or a bowl, and mix well. It will make a little bit more than 1/2 cup (100 ml) of batter.

Pour into a mug cup. (When you are mixing in the mg cup, you don't need to wash any dishes.)

Microwave for 2 minutes at 800 W. It will rise about 3 time as the original volume.
