Tortellini Pesto Alfredo

Normally I make my own Alfredo sauce when I make this recipe but lately I haven't had much time. It tastes fine with store bought stuff. I'd love to make my own tortellini as well but I haven't got brave enough to try that yet. Quick and easy dinner done in 20 -30 minutes.

I came up with this version of Alfredo sauce using milk thickened with a bit of flour rather than using heavy cream and I'm pleased with the result. Although it still has 1/2 cup of butter, I say all in moderation!! The family loved it!

This recipe came about from my love for all the ingredients and my hope that they would taste great together. Thankfully they do!Tastes great with or without the shrimp. Mushroom or cheese tortellini can be used instead of chicken.

This couldn't be much easier. I actually had some leftover fettuccini and leftover chicken (which made it even more quick) from last night and simply mixed some jarred alfredo sauce and some jarred basil pesto. #worldonaplate #myitalian

This is quick and easy recipe. It can be adapted by adding more or less cheese and/or cornstarch to reach desired thickness.

very good recipe. we baked ours and I think it would've been better had we not. Can add more cheese if you like to taste.

We like to make homemade pizza. One night we had some leftover meat and veggies, so I decided to throw some ingredients together with some pasta. It was delicious! We have made it with chicken and beef and it is good with either!

This is my twist on a recipe I came across on Pinterest. It's a quick and tasty dinner idea for when your feeling more indulgent. It's also delicious with some fresh spinach wilted in or crumbled cooked Italian sausage. Goes great with a simple salad and some breadsticks for dipping.
