I eat this for dinner on the days that I don't have rice.

I couldn't satisfy my taste buds with cold tofu on its own so I always add natto and vegetables to give the dish some flavor.

I really like Riken brand's Uma-shio dressing as a low-calorie dressing.

Thanks to the garlic flavour in this salad, you'll feel full and satisfied.

Ingredients

1 serving
  1. 1pack Natto (3 pack set)
  2. 1pack Tofu (3 pack set)
  3. 1/4Lettuce
  4. 1/4Cucumber
  5. 1Salt Dressing (or your choice of dressing)
  6. 2leaves Shiso leaves (optional)
  7. 1/4Tomato (optional)
  8. 1 dashMayonnaise (optional)

Cooking Instructions

    Shred the cabbage with your hands and chop the cucumber into chunks. Refer to user Kaborin's "Kabo-Style Lettuce Salad"for details.

    Add the natto, tofu and shiso leaves (if you have them) into the salad from Step 1 and mix in the dressing. Use whatever dressing you like.

    Once the salad has been mixed it's ready to serve. If you want a low-calorie salad, eat this version.

    If you don't mind the extra calories, try dressing the salad with some mayonnaise and adding some tomatoes. Then top the salad with some more shiso leaves if you like.
