Steps

Wash and soak basmati rice for 30 minutes.Keep aside.Cut vegetables into small pieces.Keep aside.

Heat oil in a heavy bottomed vessel,add all whole garam masala,let crackle them.

Add onion and fry till golden,add all ginger garlic paste.Saute 2 minutes.Add all dry spices.Saute few seconds.

Add sluced tomato and add 1/4cup water,add salt also.Cook till done.Add all vegetables.Saute few minutes.

Add 1/4cup water and cook for 2-3minutes till half done.

Add basmati rice.Add 4 cups water.Let it boil.Cover the lid and cook on medium heat for 5-6minutes.

After 5-6minutes,check the rice.If rice is done put off flame.

Garnish with fried onion and chopped coriander leaves.Serve with salad /raita.
