Nothing beats enjoying a cook from start to finish, owing to sweet mouthwatering scents escaping the oven. Speaking of sweet scents, apples top the list for me.
Steps

Preheat oven to 180C. Line or grease a 9 inch round baking pan

Mix diced apples and lemon juice and set aside
- 3
Whisk flour, sugar and cinnamon. Dig a well and pour the eggs and butter. Mix in while slowly adding the milk
- 4
Fold in the apples and spoon mixture into the lined pan. Bake for 30 minutes or until skewer comes out with a few crumbs
- 5
Cool cake on a rack. I thoroughly enjoy mine warm, sprinkled with icing sugar and cinnamon or just simply served with yoghurt
