Wash the masoor dal properly

Add masoor, water,salt,turmeric powder,red chilli powder in the cooker.increase the flame high,let it comes to boil,close the lid of pressure cooker.cook it for one whistle. on high flame.turn off the flame.

Let the cooker cool down,open the lid pressure cooked dal is ready.

For tadka...heat the ghee in pan add hing,cumin seeds,

Onion,garlic,green chillies till golden brown in low flame for 3 minutes.

Add garam masala,cumin powder mix it well. Your daal is ready
