I had lots of Japanese turnips, so I made a soup.

Steps

Peel the Japanese turnips, and cut into bite-sized pieces. Slice the green leaves into small rounds (your preferred amount). Chop the bacon into 2 cm strips.

Pour the water into a pot and turn on the heat. Add Japanese turnip, bacon, and consomme. Simmer until the turnips become soft.

Add the greens of the turnips and butter, and simmer for another 3 ~ 4 minutes. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.

Serve in a bowl, and it's done.
