Cut the beef into bite-sized cubes. Marinate with mixed dried herbs, garlic salt (these seasonings can be found at most grocery stores), and a little oyster sauce. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes—the longer, the better. Peel the garlic cloves and leave them whole. Cut the bell peppers and onion into squares.

Heat plenty of oil in a pan until hot. Add the beef, garlic cloves, and whole green peppercorns. Sear the beef until about 60% cooked, then remove and drain the excess oil.

Using a little of the same oil, sauté the onion and bell peppers. You can add a splash of fish sauce if desired. Return the beef to the pan and stir-fry until fully cooked. Serve hot. This dish goes well with French fries.
