Prepare the flan mix with the 2 cans of evaporated milk and let it set in the refrigerator for 1 hour or until it thickens.

In a blender, combine the flan with the sweetened condensed milk. It will be very sweet, but adjust with the cornstarch.

Add 1 1/2 cups of rum to a pot, dissolve the cornstarch in 1 cup of water, and heat until it thickens. Let it cool and blend with the previous mixture to adjust the sweetness.

You can add vanilla extract to taste. Pour into wine bottles or other containers and keep refrigerated.
