My Swedish Meatballs with Stroganoff Sauce

An amazing SWEDISH MEATBALLS recipe can knock anyone’s socks off and leave everyone wanting more.

Ingredients

45 minutes
4 servings
  1. 1 lbground turkey or beef
  2. 1/2 cupbread crumbs
  3. 1small yellow onion, chopped finely
  4. 1egg, beaten
  5. 1/4 tspground nutmeg
  6. 1/4 tspground all spice
  7. Salt and pepper
  8. 2 tspworcestershire sauce
  9. 2 tbspcanola oil
  10. Egg Noodles (how ever much you want)
  11. Stroganoff Sauce:
  12. 1 tbspbutter
  13. 1medium yellow onion, chopped finely
  14. 1 cancream of mushroom soup
  15. 1/3 cupsour cream
  16. 1/4 cupmilk
  17. 1/4 tsppaprika
  18. 3garlic cloves, minced

Cooking Instructions

45 minutes
  1. 1

    In medium bowl, mix thoroughly beef, bread crumbs, onion, egg, all spice, nutmeg salt and pepper. Shape mixture into small meatballs.

    In 10 inch skillet over medium heat, in hot oil, brown meatballs a few at a time until thoroughly cooked and no longer pink. Spoon off fat.

    For Sauce: In 1 1/2 quart saucepan over medium heat, in hot margarine, cook onion until tender. Stir in soup, sour cream, milk and paprika. Heat through, stirring often. ♡
    ◇Add fresh mushrooms or canned mushrooms.
    》》If you don't have sour cream, use buttermilk, heavy whipping cream or plain greek yogurt《《

    Serve over meatballs and noodles and top with parsley.
