Steps

First cook the figs well in boiling water for five minutes. Strain through a large strainer and crush these figs in mixi jar.

Now heat ghee in a pan and roast almond powder in it on low flame. Mix crushed figs, milk powder, half cup water and sugar in it to make a smooth paste.

Cover and cook for five minutes. Then add cardamom powder to it and mix well.

Hot fig halwa is ready to eat.
