Charred cabbage

Preheat oven to 200°C

Chop the cabbage through the stem so the leaves stay roughly together.
In an ovenproof pan with a lid add oil and once hot add the cabbage and char on both sides.

Once suitably charred place a lid on pan and put in oven for 20 mins, or until soft. Serve as is, or with your favourite sauce.
