Steps

Take curd in a mixing bowl, blend. Add all powdered spices except garam masala powder. Mix all and keep aside.

Peel the potatoes and cut them into halves. Prick them with a fork/knife.

Heat oil in a wok, fry potatoes till light brown, take out and keep aside.

Add all whole spices in the same wok, add chopped onion, fry till golden. Add g-g paste. Saute for 2 minutes. Add tomato puree and cook 2-3minutes.

Add curd-spice mix, add salt also. Add 1/4cup water. Cook on low flame till oil separates.

Add fried potatoes, stir. Add 1.5 cups of water. Cover and cook till done.

Adjust gravy, add garam masala powder and amchur powder. Mix.

Garnish with coriander leaves Cover and leave for 5 minutes.

Serve with poori/parathe/naan.
