Egyptian Beef Shawarma

Marinate the beef first: In a bowl, mix the oil, grated onion, spices, and vinegar. Stir to combine.

Add the beef to the marinade, mix well, and let it marinate while you prepare the vegetables.

In a skillet or baking pan, heat 1 tablespoon oil and a piece of butter. Once hot, add the beef. Do not stir until it browns on one side.

After browning, stir the beef, then add the sliced onion and sauté. Next, add the garlic and cook until fragrant. Add the diced tomato and stir. Just before turning off the heat, add the parsley and give it a final stir.

Serve in hamburger buns like at restaurants, or in regular bread with tahini sauce.
