Marinade the stew with the condiments for an hour

In a large pot add 2tbls oil, onions,cumin seeds,1 whole elachi,1 cinnamon stick, 2 cloves, ginger & garlic,1 whole green chilli.

Fry onions on medium heat until slightly brown.

Add mutton Stew to the onions and fry on high heat for 5mimutes, stirring continuously.

Add water covering the mutton, allow to simmer for 5 minutes & then add diced tomatoes,let it cook for an hour.checking the level of water.

Finally add cubed potatoes& allow to simmer for the remaining 30 minutes

Once patatoes are soft remove and serve with rice or roti
