Ingredients

  1. 2 stalkscelery chopped
  2. 2medium carrots peeled and chopped
  3. Medium onion chopped
  4. 1 tblsolive oil
  5. 3 clovesgarlic minced
  6. 3 tblsflour
  7. 4 cupschicken broth
  8. 1 tspItalian seasoning
  9. 3/4 cupuncooked rice
  10. 1 cupheavy whipping cream
  11. 2chicken breast cooked and diced
  12. to taste Salt & pepper

Cooking Instructions

    Cut up the veggies and chicken

    In Dutch oven sauté celery, onions and carrots in olive oil til soft

  3. 3

    Add garlic and cook about 30 seconds

  4. 4

    Stir in flour and cook until veggies are coated

  5. 5

    Pour in chicken broth and stir, scraping all of the bits off the bottom until flour is dissolved

  6. 6

    Stir in seasoning, rice and heavy cream and bring to a boil. Then reduce heat to simmer, cover and cook about 10 minutes

  7. 7

    Add in chicken and cook another 10 minutes until the rice is fully cooked. Add salt and pepper to taste
