Ingredients

  • 2 cupsbasmati rice
  • 1 small cup beans
  • 1 cupOnions
  • 1 cuptomato
  • 1 cuppotato
  • 1 cupCapsicum
  • 1 teaspoonoil
  • 1 teaspoonButter
  • 1 teaspoonjeera
  • 3-4 piecegreen chilli
  • 1 pieceginger
  • 3-4 piecegarlic
  • 2 piecescinnamon
  • 2-3 piececloves
  • 2 piecetej patta
  • 1/2 teaspoonturmeric
  • 2 teaspoonbirayani masala
  • 4 piececashews
  • As Required Salt and red chill powder as per the quantity
  • 1 teaspoondhanya jerra powder

Steps

  1. 1

    To begin with, take one bowl, add 2 -3 cups of water, and add basmati rice in a bowl, add some cloves, tej patta, or cinnamon.

    Heat it for 30 minutes maximum.

    While the rice is soaking, prepare all veggies and chopped them in a smaller size (onion, Capsicum, tomato, potato)

    To add with, chopped ginger, green chili, garlic and mix it gently and make the thick paste.

    After that, take one pan, add 3 tablespoon of oil and butter.
    Once the ghee has melted, add whole spices and all veggies. Mix gently until the onion become golden.

    Moreover, add biryani masala, red chili powder, salt as per quantity, dhanya jeera powder, coriander leaves.

    Mix the rice gently with all the ingredients.

    Finally, serve the veg- pulav and garnished with coriander leaves, and fried cashews.
