Soak chole/chikpeas for 5-6 hours or you can soak over night.. heat up a pressure cooker..add 3tbsp oil, add cumin seeds, bay leaf and whole garam masala saute it for 2 minutes

Now add chopped onions, ginger and garlic chopped a, green chilli slit... saute nicely till onion becomes translucent.. add all the powder masalas, give it a good mix..now add chopped tomatoes, mix well, add salt and cover the lid let it cook on low flame..

Cook until tomatoes turn in to mushy.. now add 1/2 cup of water, add soaked chole, add crushed kasoori methi....give it a good mix, cover the lid and get 4-5 whistles, when cooled,garnish with chopped coriander leaves..and serve with poori/paratha
