This one is an excellent Dessert, especially when you feel like having something sweet and that which can be whipped up in a jiffy. And this particular one fits this category of quickie Desserts to the core. Yes, Indeed! Because it's made amazingly quicker. The only thing is to soak the Sago Pearls or Sabudana. As simple as that. Nothing can beat its taste. It just melts in the mouth and is rich in Calcium too making it even healthier and rich.
With just about a total of 4-5 ingredients, it's done. And it's done quite right too.
Not only is it easy and quick to make, but it's also absolutely amazing with a lovely texture and flavour.
My family's all-time favourite and a weekend special too. It's best served chilled but tastes equally great when had warm.
Enjoy Cooking with Zeen!

Steps
- 1
Bring Milk to a rolling boil on high heat at first. As soon as it starts boiling vigorously, add soaked and drained Sago Pearls to it. Mix well and then simmer on low heat for about 15 to 20 minutes.
- 2
Add Sugar and Cardamom powder to the simmering Milk. Mix well and continue to let it cook on low heat only. Also, don't forget to add slivered Almonds. Sugar can be adjusted accordingly. Also, add a few strands of Saffron.
- 3
Keep simmering it on low heat for the next 10 minutes. After done, enjoy it either warm or chilled according to your choice. That's it. Super duper wonderful Dessert is ready in no time at all. Enjoy!
I served it with a generous dollop of Vanilla Ice-cream. Yum!
